Disabled Access
In line with the DDA we have anticipated what customers with different disabilities may need to be able to access our services. Therefore we have put the following facilities in place to ensure all customers can enjoy their visit to The Rapids:

• External Lighting and smooth access to the building.
• Monitored Disabled Bays in the Car Park.
• Street level access to the main entrance with automated doors.
• Hearing Loop installed at reception for the Hearing Impaired.
• Wheelchair level Reception desk to the right of Reception.
• Lift to access all levels of the building.
• Dedicated disabled toilets (will pull call alarms)
• Disabled Changing Rooms.
• Graduated Beach entry to the Pool.
• During busier times then there is the option book your swimming ticket by phone. Call us up to one hour in advance and we will reserve a place for you.
• Carers receive free access when accompanying a disabled person.
